Lukasz Gottwald, guitar
(1997-2007)

Lukasz Gottwald led an incredible double life during his ten-year tenure in the SNL Band.

Besides being a killer musician, Gottwald masqueraded as writer and producer Dr. Luke. It's hard to tell which he did better, as he certainly proved his versatility in the SNL guitar chair. (Anyone remember who he replaced? It was Yoshiko Hirashige.) Gottwald's music productions read like a Who's Who of pop music over the last dozen or so years, with artists like Kelly Clarkson, Avril Lavigne, Daughtry and Pink among those benefitting from his talents. The songwriting/producing won over the session playing, as Dr. Luke officially left the band after the 2006-2007 season, being replaced by Jared Scharff.
