2007 Fleet Snapshot
This list is based on two internal NJT documents, a list of NJT garage assignments and a list of Private Carrier Assignments both from late 2007. The total NJT fleet, including minibuses, totaled 3080 buses.
Most noteworthy statistic from these fleet records is the durability of the 1994 Flxibles. Thirteen years after their introduction, not one of these buses has gone out of service. However, there are a number of the 1989 Flxibles still hanging on almost 20 years after their introduction into the NJT fleet - thanks in part to the failure of Millennium to deliver buses. The new NABI buses have yet to appear on this roster, the first prototype being delivered in January 2008.
