Blue Ribbon Reissue Program

Beginning in 1943, Warner Bros. began re-releasing select color cartoons in its Blue Ribbon program. There were usually 13 cartoons rereleased each year, some going as far back as 1935. Blue Ribbon reissues received new opening sequences with replaced opening music (which in many cases was the same music) and title cards. Credits were eliminated..
