Clampett (1913-1984) had been working at the studio since Lady Play Your
Mandolin; this is his first screen credit. Freleng dismissed the crediting of Bernard Brown (d. 1981) as Supervisor on this
and other cartoons as a "policy decision" Brown was primarily a musical director
for WB but also a sound recordist who later was sound supervisor for Universal
Studios (1939-1946) and won two Academy Awards (one in the technical field) for
his work. |
